St. Kitts & The Astro Droids
Formed in April of 2011 in a small Roncesvalles basement, Bassist and lead singer Alex St. Kitts, Guitarist Will Hebbes and Drummer Robin Claxton played the beginnings of what would be the Astro Droids. After months of rehearsals and recording a small 3 track demo, the Droids began playing shows all over Toronto. Joined later by vocalists Cat Lewis, Lydia Persaud and Keyboardist Andrew Kesler, the group is a promising new glint of talent who offers up hard-hitting grooves, catchy melodies and funky overtones over a solid Rock foundation.
